On this occasion I must therefore set out the names of the Companions just mentioned, citing some of the works that transmit their reports and the scholars who authenticated portions of them, so that readers may appreciate the ignorance of anyone who disputes these narrations, rejects any of them, or pronounces misguided those who adhere to them.
