3. In al-Kāmil, Ibn ʿAdī concludes his entry by stating (3/376):

“I see no problem with the reports that al-Walīd b. Muslim transmits from him. He may slip now and then and commit mistakes, yet the greater part of his narrations is sound, and the dominant judgement about him is that he is truthful.”
