Salat al-Musafir - al-Safar wa Ahkamuhu fi Daw al-Kitab wa al-SunnahSa’id Ibn Wahf al-Qahtani

your God is one God. So whoever hopes to meet his Lord, let him work righteousness and let him associate no one at all in the worship due to his Lord.” (1)

Thus does the Muslim seek nothing but the Countenance of Allah and the Final Abode. For that reason Allah the Exalted said: “Whoever desires the fleeting world, We hasten therein what We will for whom We will; then We assign him to Hell, where he will burn—condemned and banished.” (2)

In the sacred hadith He says: “I am the One most free of need of any partner. Whoever performs a deed in which he associates someone else with Me, I abandon him and his association.” (3)

The Prophet ﷺ feared minor shirk for his community. He said: “The thing I fear most for you is minor shirk.” When he was asked what it was, he replied, “Showing off.” (4) He ﷺ also said: “Whoever seeks to make people hear of his deeds, Allah will expose him; and whoever shows off, Allah will show him up.” (5)

Allah the Almighty said: “They were commanded only to worship Allah, devoting the religion sincerely to Him…”
