(Sound) The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

“O Allah, by Your knowledge of the unseen and Your power over all creation, keep me alive so long as life is better for me, and cause me to die when death is better for me. O Allah, I ask You for awe of You in private and in public; I ask You for the word of truth in anger and in contentment; I ask You for moderation in poverty and in wealth; I ask You for bliss that never ends; I ask You for an unfailing joy of the eye; I ask You for contentment after Your decree and the coolness of life after death; and I ask You for the delight of gazing upon Your noble Face and the yearning to meet You, without harmful distress or misleading temptation. O Allah, adorn us with the adornment of faith and make us guides who are rightly guided.” ⦗90⦘
