In the two Ṣaḥīḥ collections—through Saʿīd, from Qatādah, from Anas— the Prophet ﷺ said:
“Hell will go on receiving its denizens while it keeps saying, ‘and it will say, “Are there any more?”’ until the Lord of Might places His Foot upon it. Then it will contract, one part pulling into another, and it will declare, ‘Enough, enough! By Your might and Your generosity!’ As for Paradise, it will still have room left over until Allah creates a new people for it and settles them in that remaining expanse of Paradise.” (1)
It is also established in the two Ṣaḥīḥs that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ beheld Paradise and Hell on the night he was taken on the Night Journey. (2)
Regarding the report found in Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī—from Abū Hurayrah, from the Prophet ﷺ—stating that Allah, Exalted is He, will create for the Fire whomever He wills, that they will be cast into it, and that it will say, ‘and it will say, “Are there any more?”,’ some ḥadīth masters have maintained that this is a mistake on the part of one of the narrators. Evidently the wording became confused, one phrase slipping into another, so that the ruling meant for the people of Paradise was inadvertently transferred to the Fire.
I say: If the report is in fact sound, it may be that the Exalted will test such people on the Plain, just as He will test others to whom no proof reached in the life of this world. Whoever disobeys among them will enter the Fire, while whoever responds obediently will enter Paradise—in keeping with His words, “We never punish until We have sent a messenger” (al-Isrāʾ 17:15), and, “Messengers bearing good news and warning, so that mankind would have no argument against Allah after the messengers; and Allah is Almighty, All-Wise” (al-Nisāʾ 4:165).

We have already detailed the condition of the inhabitants of Paradise at the moment of their entry: that their forms will be altered to a height of sixty cubits and a breadth of seven cubits; that they will be free of body hair and beards, their eyes adorned with kohl, in the prime of thirty-three years—and that they will speak Arabic. Abū Bakr ibn Abī ’l-Dunyā said:
Al-Qāsim ibn Hāshim narrated to us; Ṣafwān ibn Ṣāliḥ narrated to us; Rawwād ibn al-Jarrāḥ al-ʿAsqalānī narrated to us; al-Awzāʿī, from Hārūn ibn Riʾāb, from Anas ibn Mālik (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“The people of Paradise will enter Paradise in the stature of Adam—sixty cubits, by the cubit of the angel—with the beauty of Joseph, at the age of Jesus, thirty-three years old, and speaking with the language of Muhammad ﷺ.” (4)
