In Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim it is related from him, from the Prophet ﷺ, that he said:
“We are the last [of nations] yet the first on the Day of Resurrection, and we will be the first to enter Paradise.” (1).
Al-Ḥāfiẓ al-Ḍiyāʾ also transmitted—through the chain of ʿAbd Allāh ibn Muḥammad ibn ʿAqīl, from al-Zuhrī, from Saʿīd ibn al-Musayyib, from ʿUmar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb—that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“Paradise has been forbidden to all the prophets until I enter it, and it has been forbidden to all communities until my community enters it.” (2).
In Sunan Abū Dāwūd, from the report of Abū Khālid al-Dalānī, from Abū Khālid, the freedman of [the family of] Jaʿdah, from Abū Hurayrah, it is narrated:
“Gabriel came to me [and took me by the hand] and showed me the gate of Paradise through which my community will enter.”
Abū Bakr said, “O Messenger of Allah, I wish I had been with you so that I might look upon it.”
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, “Indeed, O Abū Bakr, you will be the first of my community to enter Paradise.” (3).
It has already been cited in the Ṣaḥīḥ:
“Admit from your community those who will face no reckoning through the rightmost gate [of the gates of Paradise, and they will share with the people [in] the other gates].” (4).
A sound hadith mentioned earlier states:
“Whoever spends two kinds of his wealth in the path of Allah will be called from the gates of Paradise; truly, Paradise has eight gates …” the hadith in full. (5).
And in the Two Ṣaḥīḥs, in the narration of Sahl ibn Saʿd, it is said:
“Paradise has eight gates; among them is a gate called al-Rayyān. None shall enter it but those who fast; when they have entered, it will be closed and no one else will go through it.” (6).

Allah the Exalted says:
“And those who believed and whose offspring followed them in faith—We shall unite their offspring with them, and We shall not diminish anything of their deeds …” (Qurʾan 52:21)
