[Another narration on this subject from Jābir]
Imām Aḥmad said: Abū Muʿāwiyah narrated to us; al-Aʿmash narrated to us, from Abū Sufyān, from Jābir, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“The people of Paradise will eat there and drink, yet they will neither defecate, urinate, blow their noses, nor spit. Their food will turn into burps and perspiration whose fragrance is like musk.”
Muslim likewise transmitted it through Abū Sufyān Ṭalḥah ibn Nāfiʿ, from Jābir… He recorded that they asked, “What becomes of the food?” He replied:
“It becomes burps and perspiration scented like musk, and they are inspired to declare tasbīḥ and taḥmīd (glorifying and praising Allah).”
He also reported it through Ibn Jurayj, from Abū al-Zubayr, from Jābir… and said:
“Their food will become burps whose aroma is like musk (1), and they will be inspired to pronounce tasbīḥ and takbīr (proclaiming Allah’s greatness) as effortlessly as they breathe (2).”

Aḥmad said: al-Ḥakam ibn Nāfiʿ narrated to us; Ismāʿīl ibn ʿAyyāsh narrated to us, from (3) Ṣafwān ibn ʿAmr, from Māʿiz al-Tamīmī, from Jābir ibn ʿAbd Allah, who said: The Prophet ﷺ was asked, “Do the people of Paradise eat?” He answered:
“Yes— and they drink as well—yet they do not urinate there, nor do they defecate or expectorate. Rather, it becomes burps and perspiration whose scent is like musk, and they are inspired to utter tasbīḥ and taḥmīd just as you are inspired to breathe.” (4)

Al-Ḥāfiẓ Abū Bakr al-Bazzār said in his Musnad: al-Qāsim ibn Muḥammad ibn Yaḥyā al-Marwazī narrated to us; ʿAbd Allah ibn ʿUthmān ibn Jablah—known as ʿAbdān—narrated to us; Abū Ḥamzah al-Sukkarī (5) narrated to us, from al-Aʿmash, from Abū Ṣāliḥ, from Jābir [ibn ʿAbd Allah], who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“Indeed, the people of Paradise will surely eat and drink, yet they will neither defecate nor blow their noses. They will be inspired to perform tasbīḥ and ḥamd (glorification and praise) just as they are inspired to breathe, and their food and drink will …”
