Al-Khazraj ibn ʿUthmān related it from Thābit, from Anas—who said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ declared:
“My intercession is reserved for the major sinners among my community.”
He then added, “No one has transmitted this from Thābit except al-Khazraj ibn ʿUthmān.” (1)
In the same vein, Abū Yaʿlā recorded the report through Yazīd al-Raqāshī, from Anas ibn Mālik (may Allah be pleased with him), from the Prophet ﷺ, with the wording:
“My intercession is for the major sinners among my community.” (2)

Imām Aḥmad said:
ʿĀrim narrated to us; Muʿtamir narrated to us; I heard my father relate from Anas that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“Every prophet has made a request”—or he said, “Every prophet has been granted one supplication that he invoked—and I have kept my supplication in reserve as an intercession for my community on the Day of Resurrection,” or words to that effect.
Al-Bukhārī cited it in suspended form, saying, “Muʿtamir (3) reported it from his father.” Muslim furnished it with an unbroken chain, transmitting it from Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Aʿlā, from Muʿtamir, from his father Sulaymān ibn Ṭarḥān al-Taymī, from Anas, with similar wording (4).

Ibn Abī al-Dunyā said:
Muḥammad ibn Yazīd al-ʿAjlī narrated to us; Abū Bakr ibn ʿAyyāsh narrated to us; Ḥumayd narrated to us, from Anas, who said:
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stated:
“When the Day of Resurrection comes, I will be granted intercession; I will then intercede for anyone whose heart contains a speck of faith, until no one remains whose heart contains even this much faith”—and he brought together his thumb and forefinger as a demonstration (5).

Aḥmad also said:
Bahz and ʿAffān both narrated to us; they said: Hammām narrated to us; Qatādah narrated to us; from Anas that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“Every prophet was given a supplication which he made and which was granted; I, however, have saved my supplication as an intercession for my community on the Day of Resurrection.”
This ḥadith meets the conditions set by the two Imams, yet they did not include it through the narration of Hammām (6). Rather, the two Shaykhs recorded it through Abū ʿAwana al-Waddāḥ ibn ʿAbd Allah al-Yashkurī, from Qatādah. Muslim then transmitted it through the narration of
