Ibn Abī al-Dunyā said:
ʿAbd Allāh ibn Waḍḍāḥ narrated to us; Yahyā ibn Yamān narrated to us; from Sharīk; from ʿAbd Allāh ibn Muḥammad ibn ʿAqīl; from al-Ṭufayl son of Ubayy ibn Kaʿb; from Ubayy ibn Kaʿb who said:
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said,
“I shall be the spokesman of the prophets on the Day of Resurrection, their imam, and the possessor of their intercession.” (1)

Ibn Abī al-Dunyā said:
Saʿīd ibn Sulaymān narrated to us; Manṣūr ibn Abī al-Aswad narrated to us; from Layth; from al-Rabīʿ ibn Anas; from Anas ibn Mālik who said:
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said,
“I will be the first of them to emerge; I will lead them when they arrive; I will address them when they listen; I will intercede for them when they are held back; and I will bring them glad tidings when they despair. On that Day the Banner of Honor and the keys will be in my hand, and the Banner of Praise will be in my hand. I am the most honored child of Adam before my Lord. A thousand servants will circle around me—looking like hidden eggs or like scattered pearls.”
He then transmitted it through Khalaf ibn Hishām, from Ḥibbān (2) ibn ʿAlī al-ʿAnazī, from Layth ibn Abī Sulaym, from ʿUbayd Allāh ibn Zahr, from al-Rabīʿ ibn Anas, and related it as a marfūʿ report just mentioned (3).
