He replied, “I shall make up the rest for you from the Bedouins.”

[Another ḥadith]
Al-Tabarani said: Hashim ibn Marthad al-Tabarani narrated to us; Muhammad ibn Ismaʿil ibn ʿAyyash narrated to us; my father narrated to me; Damdam ibn Zurʿah narrated to me, from Shurayh ibn ʿUbayd, from Abu Malik, who said:
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “By Him in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, Allah will surely raise from among you on the Day of Resurrection a company bound for Paradise whose number will be like the blackness of the night—an entire host trampling the earth. The angels will say, ‘Those who have come with Muhammad are more numerous than those who came with any of the prophets.’” ⦗2⦘

[An account of how the servants will disperse from the Place of Reckoning, and how their end will be—one group in Paradise and another in the Blaze]
Allah, Exalted is He, says: “And warn them of the Day of Regret, when the matter will have been decided while they are heedless and do not believe.” [Maryam: 39]

He also says: “And on the Day the Hour is established, that Day they will be separated: (14) as for those who believed and did righteous deeds, they will be in a garden, delighted; (15) but those who disbelieved and denied Our signs and the meeting of the Hereafter, such will be brought forth to the punishment.” [Al-Rum: 14-16]

And He says: “So set your face toward the upright religion before a Day comes from Allah that cannot be averted; that Day they will be split asunder.” [Al-Rum: 43]

And He says: “And on the Day the Hour is established, the falsifiers will lose. (27) You will see every nation kneeling; every nation will be called to its record: ‘Today you will be recompensed for what you used to do. (28) This Our Book speaks about you in truth; indeed, We were recording what you used to do. (29) As for those who believed and did righteous deeds, their Lord will admit them into His mercy—that is the manifest triumph. (30) But as for those who disbelieved: ‘Were not My signs recited to you? Yet you grew arrogant and became a criminal people. (31) And when it was said, “The promise of Allah is true, and the Hour—there is no doubt about it,” you said, “We do not know what the Hour is; we think it is only conjecture and we are not convinced.” (32) The evil of what they did will become evident to them, and what they used to mock will engulf them. (33) And it will be said, “Today We forget you as you forgot the meeting of this Day of yours; your abode is the Fire, and you will have no helpers. (34) That is because you took the signs of Allah in mockery and the life of this world deluded you.” So today they will not be brought out of it, nor will they be allowed to make amends. (35) So to Allah belongs all praise—Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth, Lord of all beings. (36) To Him belongs majesty in the heavens and the earth, and He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.” [Al-Jathiyah: 27-37]

And He says: “And the earth will shine with the light of its Lord; the Record will be set down, the prophets and the witnesses will be brought, and judgment will be passed between them in truth, and they will not be wronged. (69) Every soul will be paid in full for what it did, for He is most knowing of what they do. (70) And those who disbelieved will be driven to Hell in groups; when they arrive, its gates will be opened, and its keepers will say to them, ‘Did there not come to you…’” [Az-Zumar: 69-70, start of 71]

(1) Al-Haythami, Majma‘ al-Zawā’id (vol. 10, p. 410), notes that it was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī and that its narrators meet the criteria of al-Ṣaḥīḥ except for al-Ṭabarānī’s shaykh. I add that al-Ṭabarānī’s teacher, Hāshim ibn Murthad al-Ṭabarānī, is weak. (2) Al-Ṭabarānī records it in al-Mu‘jam al-Kabīr (no. 3455); its isnād is weak. In al-Fāsī’s marginal note: “Found at the end of the second part in the author’s own handwriting.”

ألْفاً، فقلت: إن أُمَّتي لا تبلغ هذا؟ فقال: أكْمِلُهم لك من الأعراب " قال: رواه ثابتٌ البُنَانيّ، عن أبي يزيد المَدنيّ، عنه (١) . [حديث آخر] قال الطبراني: حدّثنا هاشمُ بن مَرْثَد الطبرانيّ، حدّثنا محمد بن إسماعيل بن عيَّاش، حدّثنا أبي، حدّثني ضَمْضَمُ بن زُرْعةَ، عن شُرَيْح بن عُبَيْد، عن أبي مالك، قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ : "أما والَّذي نفس محمَّد بيده لَيَبْعَثنَّ اللهُ منكم يومَ القيامة إلى الْجنّة مِثلَ اللّيْلِ الأسْود زُمْرةً جميعها يَخبطُونَ الأرْضَ، تقول الملائكةُ: لَمَا جاء مع محمدٍ أكثر مِمَّا جاء مع الأنبياء" (٢) . [ذكر كيفية تفرق العباد عن موقف الحساب، وما إليه أمرهم يصير ففريق في الجنة، وفريق في السعير] قال الله تعالى: ﴿وَأَنْذِرْهُمْ يَوْمَ الْحَسْرَةِ إِذْ قُضِيَ الْأَمْرُ وَهُمْ فِي غَفْلَةٍ وَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ﴾ [مريم: ٣٩] وقال تعالى: ﴿وَيَوْمَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَتَفَرَّقُونَ (١٤) فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فَهُمْ فِي رَوْضَةٍ يُحْبَرُونَ (١٥) وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَكَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا وَلِقَاءِ الْآخِرَةِ فَأُولَئِكَ فِي الْعَذَابِ مُحْضَرُونَ﴾ [الروم:١٤ - ١٦] . وقال تعالى: ﴿فَأَقِمْ وَجْهَكَ لِلدِّينِ الْقَيِّمِ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ يَوْمٌ لَا مَرَدَّ لَهُ مِنَ اللَّهِ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَصَّدَّعُونَ﴾ [الروم: ٤٣] . وقال تعالى: ﴿وَيَوْمَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَخْسَرُ الْمُبْطِلُونَ (٢٧) وَتَرَى كُلَّ أُمَّةٍ جَاثِيَةً كُلُّ أُمَّةٍ تُدْعَى إِلَى كِتَابِهَا الْيَوْمَ تُجْزَوْنَ مَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ (٢٨) هَذَا كِتَابُنَا يَنْطِقُ عَلَيْكُمْ بِالْحَقِّ إِنَّا كُنَّا نَسْتَنْسِخُ مَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ (٢٩) فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فَيُدْخِلُهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ فِي رَحْمَتِهِ ذَلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْمُبِينُ (٣٠) وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَفَلَمْ تَكُنْ آيَاتِي تُتْلَى عَلَيْكُمْ فَاسْتَكْبَرْتُمْ وَكُنْتُمْ قَوْمًا مُجْرِمِينَ (٣١) وَإِذَا قِيلَ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ وَالسَّاعَةُ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهَا قُلْتُمْ مَا نَدْرِي مَا السَّاعَةُ إِنْ نَظُنُّ إِلَّا ظَنًّا وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُسْتَيْقِنِينَ (٣٢) وَبَدَا لَهُمْ سَيِّئَاتُ مَا عَمِلُوا وَحَاقَ بِهِمْ مَا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ (٣٣) وَقِيلَ الْيَوْمَ نَنْسَاكُمْ كَمَا نَسِيتُمْ لِقَاءَ يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا وَمَأْوَاكُمُ النَّارُ وَمَا لَكُمْ مِنْ نَاصِرِينَ (٣٤) ذَلِكُمْ بِأَنَّكُمُ اتَّخَذْتُمْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ هُزُوًا وَغَرَّتْكُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا فَالْيَوْمَ لَا يُخْرَجُونَ مِنْهَا وَلَا هُمْ يُسْتَعْتَبُونَ (٣٥) فَلِلَّهِ الْحَمْدُ رَبِّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَرَبِّ الْأَرْضِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ (٣٦) وَلَهُ الْكِبْرِيَاءُ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ﴾ [الجاثية:٢٧ - ٣٧] وقال تعالى: ﴿وَأَشْرَقَتِ الْأَرْضُ بِنُورِ رَبِّهَا وَوُضِعَ الْكِتَابُ وَجِيءَ بِالنَّبِيِّينَ وَالشُّهَدَاءِ وَقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُمْ بِالْحَقِّ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ (٦٩) وَوُفِّيَتْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَا عَمِلَتْ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَفْعَلُونَ (٧٠) وَسِيقَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا إِلَى جَهَنَّمَ زُمَرًا حَتَّى إِذَا جَاءُوهَا فُتِحَتْ أَبْوَابُهَا وَقَالَ لَهُمْ خَزَنَتُهَا أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ
