Muslim likewise transmits the report (1) through Suwayd ibn Saʿīd, from ʿAlī ibn Mushir (2) with the same wording.
Imām Aḥmad (3) also relates it independently, on the authority of Marwān ibn Muʿāwiyah—through ʿUmar ibn Ḥamzah ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿUmar, from Sālim, from his father—attributed to the Prophet ﷺ in a similar form.
He further records it (4) through Wahb ibn Munabbih, from al-Nuʿmān ibn Bashīr, from the Prophet ﷺ, following essentially the same narrative but with additional material.
Al-Bazzār reports it as well, by way of Abū Isḥāq, from a man of the tribe of Bajīlah, from al-Nuʿmān ibn Bashīr, as a marfūʿ ḥadīth with comparable wording (5).
Al-Bazzār also includes it in his Musnad through Ibn Ḥabīsh (6), from ʿAlī ibn Abī Ṭālib, from the Prophet ﷺ, in much the same manner (7).
