Muhammad ibn Asʿad ibn Muhammad, Abū Manṣūr al-ʿAṭṭār, known as Ḥafada (5):

Maḥmūd ibn Shihāb al-Dīn al-Hārimī (7), the maternal uncle of Sultan Ṣalāḥ al-Dīn:
He was among the finest and bravest of the amirs. When his nephew captured Ḥamāh he granted it to him as a fief. This year, while he was ill, the Franks besieged him there (8); they seized the city and killed some of its inhabitants, but the townspeople rallied together and drove them off in humiliation—praise belongs to Allah.
Fāṭimah bint Naṣr ibn al-ʿAṭṭār (9):
She was one of the eminent women, for she (10) was a descendant of the sister of the Keeper of the Treasury (11), and she was devoted to worship.
