light in my hearing, and light in my heart.
O Allah, expand my breast and make my affair easy for me.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the whisperings that lodge in the breast, from the scattering of affairs, from the evil of the trial of the grave, from the evil of what enters by night, from the evil of what enters by day, from the evil of what the winds carry, and from the evil of the calamities of time.
He then said: “This report is transmitted only by Mūsā ibn ʿUbaydah, and he is weak; moreover, his brother ʿAbd Allāh never met ʿAlī.”
Al-Ṭabarānī stated in his work Manāsik: “Yahyā ibn ʿUthmān al-Miṣrī narrated to us; Yahyā ibn Bukayr narrated to us; Yahyā ibn Ṣāliḥ al-Aylī narrated to us, from Ismāʿīl ibn Ummayyah, from ʿAṭāʾ ibn Abī Rabāḥ, from Ibn ʿAbbās, who said: Among the supplications that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ offered during the Farewell Pilgrimage was:

He raised his hands in supplication, and his she-camel swayed so that its rein slipped. He seized the rein with one hand while keeping the other hand raised.’
Al-Nasāʾī transmitted the same report through Yaʿqūb ibn Ibrāhīm, from Hushaym, with this identical chain.
Al-Ḥāfiẓ al-Bayhaqī said: Abū ʿAbd Allāh al-Ḥāfiẓ informed us; Abū ʿAbd Allāh Muḥammad ibn Yaʿqūb narrated to us; ʿAlī ibn al-Ḥasan narrated to us; ʿAbd al-Majīd ibn ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, from Ḥusayn ibn ʿAbd Allāh al-Hāshimī, from ʿIkrimah
