[Letter Ḥāʾ]
al-Ḥārith ibn Anas ibn Rāfiʿ al-Khazrajī. al-Ḥārith ibn Aws ibn Muʿādh, the nephew of Saʿd ibn Muʿādh of the Aws. al-Ḥārith ibn Ḥāṭib ibn ʿAmr ibn ʿUbayd ibn Umayyah ibn Zayd ibn Mālik of the Aws—whom the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, turned back on the way but for whom he assigned a share of the spoils and his reward. al-Ḥārith ibn Khuzmah ibn ʿAdiyy ibn Abī Ghanm ibn Sālim ibn ʿAwf ibn ʿAmr ibn ʿAwf of the Khazraj, an ally of the Banū Zaʿūra ibn ʿAbd al-Ashhal. al-Ḥārith ibn al-Ṣimmah al-Khazrajī—also turned back by the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, because his arm had been broken on the road; nevertheless he received his share and reward. al-Ḥārith ibn ʿArfajah al-Awsī. al-Ḥārith ibn Qays ibn Khālid(1), Abū Khālid al-Khazrajī. al-Ḥārith ibn al-Nuʿmān ibn Umayyah al-Anṣārī.
Ḥārithah ibn Surāqah al-Najjārī: a stray arrow struck him while he was on guard, and he was raised to the Highest Paradise. Ḥārithah ibn al-Nuʿmān ibn Rāfiʿ al-Anṣārī.
Ḥāṭib ibn Abī Baltaʿah al-Lakhmī, an ally of the Banū Asad ibn ʿAbd al-ʿUzzā ibn Quṣayy. Ḥāṭib ibn ʿAmr ibn ʿUbayd ibn Umayyah al-Ashjaʿī of the Banū Dahmān—so Ibn Hishām(2) records from a source other than Ibn Isḥāq. al-Wāqidī(3) said: Ḥāṭib ibn ʿAmr ibn ʿAbd Shams ibn ʿAbd Wudd; Ibn ʿĀʾidh gives the same in his Maghāzī. Ibn Abī Ḥātim(4) said: Ḥāṭib ibn ʿAmr ibn ʿAbd Shams—I heard it from my father, who said he is a man of unknown status.
al-Ḥabbāb ibn al-Munḏir al-Khazrajī; it is said that the banner of the Khazraj was with him that day. Ḥabīb ibn Aswad, the client of the Banū Ḥarām of the Banū Salamah. Mūsā ibn ʿUqbah(5) said: Ḥabīb ibn Saʿd, instead of “Aswad.” Ibn Abī Ḥātim(6) said: Ḥabīb ibn Aslam, the client of the household of Jusham of the Khazraj—an Anṣārī who fought at Badr.
Ḥurayth ibn Zayd ibn Thaʿlabah ibn ʿAbd Rabbih al-Anṣārī, the brother of ʿAbd Allāh ibn Zayd to whom the call to prayer was shown(7). al-Ḥuṣayn ibn al-Ḥārith ibn al-Muṭṭalib ibn ʿAbd Manāf. Ḥamzah ibn ʿAbd al-Muṭṭalib ibn Hāshim, the uncle of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him.
