The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) then came out to them and asked, “What are you discussing?” They told him, and he said, “They are those who neither administer ruqyah nor ask for it, do not take omens, and place their trust in their Lord.” Ukkāshah ibn Mihsan stood and said, “Ask Allah to make me one of them.” He replied, “You are one of them.” Another man then stood and said, “Ask Allah to make me one of them.” He replied, “Ukkāshah has preceded you to it.” (1)
