8 – Shaybān narrated from Yaḥyā, from Buraydah (may Allah be pleased with him) who reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Pray the afternoon prayer early.” In another version, Buraydah al-Aslamī (may Allah be pleased with him) related that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Pray the afternoon prayer early on cloudy days, for whoever lets the afternoon prayer lapse until the sun sets, his deeds are rendered void.”
