38 – Simāk reported from ʿIkrimah, from Ibn ʿAbbās (may Allah be pleased with them), that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by a dead sheep that belonged to Sawdah and said, “What would it have cost its owners had they benefited from its hide?” They then flayed the sheep, turned its skin into a waterskin, and kept using it until it became a brittle leather bag.
