15 – ʿAlqamah reported, through Ibn Buraydah from his father, that on the day of the Conquest of Mecca the Prophet ﷺ “performed five prayers with a single ablution, wiping over his leather socks.” ʿUmar said to him, “We have never seen you do this before today.” The Prophet ﷺ replied, “I did it deliberately, O ʿUmar.”
