9 – Narrated by Hammad, from Ibrahim, from al-Aswad, from ʿAʾishah (may Allah be pleased with her). She said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) declared, “Your children are part of what you lawfully earn, and they are a gift from Allah to you. He grants daughters to whom He wills, and He grants sons to whom He wills.”
