5 – Reported by Dharr, from Saʿīd ibn Jubayr, from Ibn ʿAbbās (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Gabriel (peace be upon him), “What keeps you from visiting us more often than you do?” A few nights later the verse was revealed: “We (angels) do not descend except by the command of your Lord; to Him belongs all that is before us and all that is behind us” (Maryam 19:64).
