3 – ʿAbd al-Raḥmān narrated, on the authority of Abū Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “A time will come upon people when they will frequent the graves, press their bellies against them, and say, ‘If only we were the occupant of this grave.’ It was asked, ‘O Messenger of Allah, how will that come to pass?’ He replied, ‘Because of the harshness of the times and the abundance of calamities and turmoil.’”
