10 – Al-Haytham narrated, through an unnamed transmitter, from Jābir ibn ʿAbd Allāh (may Allah be pleased with him): “Two men disputed over a she-camel, each bringing evidence that it was his, born in his herd, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ruled in favor of the one who already had it in his hand.”
In another wording: two men came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) concerning a she-camel; one of them produced proof that it had been born in his herd, whereupon the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) awarded it to the man who had it in his possession.
