6 – Hammād related from al-Shaʿbī, from Ibn ʿAbbās (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) declared, “When no evidence is produced, the oath rests with the one against whom the claim is brought.”
