3 – Ḥasan ibn ʿUbayd Allah related from Ḥabīb ibn Thābit, from his father (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Judges are of three kinds. Two are in the Fire: a judge who rules among the people without knowledge and so consigns the wealth of some to others; and a judge who abandons what is right and passes judgment unjustly. These two are in the Fire. The third is a judge who rules by the Book of Allah Most High, and he will be in Paradise.”
