2 – Ibrāhīm related from al-Aswad, from ʿĀʾishah (may Allah be pleased with her), who said: “For three consecutive days and their nights we never ate our fill of bread until Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) left this world. Worldly life remained straitened for us until Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) departed, but once he had departed, it came pouring upon us in abundance.”
In another wording: “Worldly provision was poured upon us in torrents.”
Yet another narration states: “The family of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) never ate their fill of wheat bread for three consecutive days.”
