11 – Transmitted by ʿAlqamah, from Ibn Buraydah, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Whoever refuses to accept the excuse of a fellow Muslim who offers him an apology will carry a sin like that of a collector of illicit taxes.” They asked, “Messenger of Allah, and who is a collector of illicit taxes?” He replied, “A customs-collector who imposes unlawful levies.”
