8 – On the authority of Muhammad, from Anas, who said:
“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ never once thrust his knee forward in front of anyone sitting with him; rather, he would sit on the same level as they did. Whenever someone took hold of his hand, he never let go until the other person released it. No one ever sat with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and then rose to leave while he remained seated; he would always rise first. And I have never smelled anything more pleasing than the fragrance of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.”
In another report he said: “No man ever came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with a request and then left before him; instead, it was the Prophet who would be the first to depart.”
Another narration states: “Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ shook hands with someone, he would not withdraw his hand until the other person withdrew it.”
