5 – Qays transmitted, through Tariq, from Ibn Masʿud (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) declared:

“Allah has not sent down a disease without also sending down the remedy that accompanies it—apart from old age. Therefore make use of cows’ milk, for the cow browses on every type of tree.”

Another wording states: “Indeed Allah, exalted is He, has not placed on earth a disease without also appointing its remedy, except for old age and death. So take the milk of cows, for it grazes on every sort of tree.”

A third version reads: “No disease has Allah sent down without also sending down its remedy—save death and old age. So benefit from cows’ milk, for it browses among the trees.”

Yet another narration says: “Allah has not placed in the earth a disease without also placing for it a cure—or a remedy. Therefore make use of cows’ milk, for it feeds on every kind of tree.”
