Musnad Abi Hanifah Riwayat al-HaskafiAbu Hanifa

6 – Hammād narrated from Ibrāhīm, from al-Aswad, from ʿĀʾishah, may Allah be pleased with her: A spiny-tailed lizard (ḍabb) was gifted to her, so she consulted the Prophet ﷺ and he forbade her to eat it. Later a beggar came, and she ordered that it be given to him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ remarked, “Would you feed people something you yourself would not eat?!”
