- Ziyad narrated from Yazid ibn al-Harith, from Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “The downfall of my community will be through stabbing and plague.” They asked, “O Messenger of Allah, we know what stabbing is; but what is the plague?” He replied, “A piercing inflicted on you by your enemies from among the jinn.” In another version it adds: “and in each of them there are martyrs.”
٥ - عَنْ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى ﵁، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: " فَنَاءُ أُمَّتِي بِالطَّعْنِ وَالطَّاعُونِ، قِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، الطَّعْنُ قَدْ عَرَفْنَاهُ، فَمَا الطَّاعُونَ؟ قَالَ: وَخْزُ أَعْدَائِكُمْ مِنَ الْجِنِّ "، وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ: «وَفِي كُلٍّ شُهَدَاءُ»
