24 – Hammad narrated, from Ibrahim, from Abu ʿAbd Allah al-Jadali, from Khuzaimah: He once passed by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while a Bedouin was with him denying that any sale had taken place. Khuzaimah said, “I testify that you did indeed sell it to him.” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, “How do you know that?” He replied, “You bring us revelation from heaven and we believe you!” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ therefore counted his testimony as equal to the testimony of two men. In another wording: “He accepted his testimony as the equivalent of two men’s testimony for the rest of his life.”
