18 – Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir narrated from Jabir – may Allah be pleased with him – who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, “Who will bring us news on the night of the Confederates (al-Ahzab)?” Al-Zubayr would set out and return with the report; this happened three times. Then the Prophet ﷺ declared, “Every prophet has a disciple, and my disciple is al-Zubayr.”
