4 – On the authority of Hammad, from Ibrahim, from ʿAlqamah, from ʿAbd Allah ibn Masʿud (may Allah be pleased with him): “The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, could be recognized at night, when he came toward the mosque, by the scent of perfume.”
