5 – Ibn Abī Laylā narrated from al-Ḥakam, from Miqsam, from Ibn ʿAbbās (may Allah be pleased with him): “On the Day of the Trench a man from the polytheists was killed in the ditch, and the polytheists offered money for his corpse, but the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade them from doing so.”
