4 – Hammad narrated from Ibrahim, from al-Aswad, from ʿAʾisha (may Allah be pleased with her), who said: “I heard that, concerning Allah’s words, ‘Allah will not call you to account for what is unintentional in your oaths’ (al-Baqarah 2:225), what is meant is a person’s casual remark, ‘No, by Allah,’ or ‘Yes, by Allah.’”
