1 – From ʿAṭāʾ, transmitted by Yūsuf ibn Māhak, on the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Three matters are binding whether spoken in earnest or in jest: divorce, marriage, and reinstating one’s wife (after a revocable divorce).”
