12 – Hammad narrated, from Ibrāhīm, from al-Aswad, on the authority of ʿĀʾishah (may Allah be pleased with her): She arrived in a state of tamattuʿ while menstruating, whereupon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ instructed her, so she abandoned her ʿumrah and commenced the rites of Hajj. After she had completed the pilgrimage, he ordered her to proceed to al-Tanʿīm with her brother ʿAbd al-Raḥmān.
