19 – Shaybān transmitted, through Yaḥyā, through al-Muhājir, from Abū Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: “The Messenger of Allah forbade ṣawm al-ṣamt (the fast of silence) and ṣawm al-wiṣāl (continuous fasting without breaking the fast).”
