75 – Abu Ishaq narrated, from ʿAsim ibn Hamzah, who said: “I asked ʿAli—may Allah honor his countenance—about the witr prayer: ‘Is it obligatory?’ He replied, ‘Not in the same way that the prescribed prayers are obligatory. Rather, it is a Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and therefore no one should leave it off.’”
