67 – Hammad transmitted from Ibrahim, from someone who heard Umm ʿAtiyyah say: “Women were given permission to go out for the two Eids—Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha—to the point that two young unmarried girls would venture out wrapped in a single cloak, and even a menstruating woman would go out, sitting among the people; they would make supplication but would not perform the prayer.”
