62 – Ḥammād narrated, from Ibrāhīm, that a man informed him he had asked ʿAbd Allāh ibn Masʿūd (may Allah be pleased with him) about the Prophet’s ﷺ Friday khutbah (sermon). Ibn Masʿūd replied, “Do you not recite Sūrah al-Jumuʿah?” The man said, “Yes, but I am unaware (of the answer).” So Ibn Masʿūd recited to him: “When they see some commerce or entertainment, they break away toward it and leave you standing” (al-Jumuʿah 62:11).
