Bayān Talbīs al-JahmiyyaIbn Taimiya

“Some faces that Day will be radiant {22}, looking at their Lord {23}.” [al-Qiyāmah 22, 23]

And He said of the disbelievers: “No indeed! On that Day they will be veiled from their Lord.” [al-Mutaffifīn 15]

He went on to say: We have explained the matter of seeing Allah and transmitted the reports concerning it in the first book we dictated concerning the Jahmiyyah. We have also related some of them at the beginning of this book. Seek them there and consider their wording with your hearts and minds; the flaws in this Marīsī’s words, the error of his interpretation, and the invalidity of his argument will become clear to you, if Allah Most High wills.
