He then said:

These three groups broadly agree with the Mu‘tazilah regarding the divine attributes, but not regarding divine decree, the questions of “Abū ‘Ubayd,” or faith.
He then said:
“An account of the position of the Bakriyyah, the followers of Bakr, whose mother was the sister of
