of their leaders, “Can there be a Quran made of felt?” Another said, “Of wood.” They evaded the issue, saying, “This is a representation through which the Quran is expressed. Allah Most High spoke once and does not speak thereafter.” Then they said, “It is uncreated, and whoever says it is created is an unbeliever.”

This is one of their traps, with which they ensnare the hearts of ordinary adherents of the Sunnah. What they actually believe is that the Quran does not exist. The male Jahmiyyah spat it out in one go, and the female Ash'arīs in ten.
