it is incomprehensible to created beings?
The third is His saying, Most High:
“And indeed, it is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds (192). The Trustworthy Spirit has brought it down (193) upon your heart, so that you may be one of the warners (194), in a clear Arabic tongue (195).” [al-Shu‘arā’ 192–195]
If it were not comprehensible, how could the Messenger warn people by it? Moreover, His saying, “in a clear Arabic tongue (195)” [al-Shu‘arā’ 195], indicates that it was revealed in the language of the Arabs. That being so, it must be understandable.
The fourth is His saying, Most High:
“Those among them able to draw conclusions from it would have known it.” [al-Nisā’ 83]
Drawing conclusions from it is only possible after fully grasping its meaning.
I say: What is referred to in His saying, Most High:
“When news concerning security or fear comes to them, they spread it. But if they had referred it to the Messenger and to those in authority among them, those among them able to draw conclusions from it would have known it.” [al-Nisā’ 83]
is not the Quran.
