hadith and the Sunnah: “The general position held by the adherents of hadith and the Sunnah.” He then mentioned what we quoted from him earlier, including: “They affirm that Allah Most High will come on the Day of Resurrection, as He Most High says, ‘And your Lord comes, and the angels, rank upon rank’ (22) [al-Fajr 22], and that Allah draws near to His creation however He wills, as He says:
الحديث وأهل السنة قال جملة ما عليه أصحاب الحديث وأهل السنة وذكر ما نقلناه عنه قبل هذا وفيه ويقرون أن الله تعالى يجيء يوم القيامة كما قال تعالى وَجَاءَ رَبُّكَ وَالْمَلَكُ صَفًّا صَفًّا
