Mu’ammal narrated to us, saying: Sufyān narrated to us, from ‘Ubayd al-Muktib, from Mujāhid, from Ibn ‘Umar, who said:

“Allah, blessed and exalted is He, veiled Himself from His creation with four things: fire, water, light and darkness.”
