“He lowers the balance and raises it,” he meant that He upholds justice in the deeds of His servants, as the Exalted says:

“We send it down only in a known measure.” (21) [al-Hijr 21]

The second report is related in well-known books from the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace: “Allah has seventy veils of light. Were He to remove them, the radiance of His Face would burn everything that His sight reaches.”
