And Abū Hurayrah narrated that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

“When a third of the night remains, Allah descends to the lowest heaven and says, ‘Who is calling upon Me, that I may answer him? Who is seeking relief from affliction, that I may relieve him of it? Who is asking Me for provision, that I may provide for him?’ This continues until dawn breaks.”
