[Al-Kahf 103–105]

And His words:

“Those who disbelieve in Allah’s signs and in the meeting with Him—it is they who have despaired of My mercy.”
[Al-‘Ankabūt 23]

And His words:

“Those who deny Our signs and the meeting in the Hereafter—their deeds have come to nothing. Are they recompensed for anything other than what they used to do?” (147)
[Al-A‘rāf 147]

And His words:

“Whoever hopes to meet Allah—surely Allah’s appointed time is coming.”
[Al-‘Ankabūt 5]

And His words:

“Yet many people disbelieve in the meeting with their Lord.” (8)
[Al-Rūm 8]

And His words:

“Their greeting on the Day they meet Him will be, ‘Peace.’”
[Al-Ahzāb 44]

And His words:

“Indeed, they are in doubt about the meeting with their Lord. Indeed, He encompasses all things.” (54)
[Fussilat 54]

Once it is understood that the meeting of the servants with their Lord is mentioned in nearly twenty places in Allah’s Book, and that similar wording occurs in passages involving people, Allah has also used this expression in several places with reference to those other than Himself, as in His words, exalted is He:

“O you who believe, when you meet those who disbelieve advancing in battle, do not turn your backs on them.” (15)
